India’s textile and apparel trade fair Bharat Tex 2025 will host a roadshow in London on 27 and 28 November 2024, to promote the country’s textile manufacturing strengths and opportunities.
The show aims to strengthen India’s position as a global textile hub and foster international business partnerships.
The London roadshow will take place at St James Court Hotel in London ahead of its main event in New Delhi, scheduled for 14-17 February 2025.
While UK-based brands and retailers already have established relationships with Indian manufacturers, the event will serve as a platform to explore new business partnerships, trends, and opportunities in India’s textile and apparel industries through B2B/B2G meetings, memorandum of understanding (MoU) signings, and more.
The two-day roadshow will feature a symposium, followed by exclusive one-on-one meetings and round table discussions on the first day. On the second day, 28 November, guest delegates from India will be available for additional exclusive meetings.
Organised by Textile Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) and supported by the India’s Ministry of Textiles, the fair will highlight the growing capabilities of India’s textile sector, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and investment potential.
Speaking at the Bharat Tex 2025 Curtain Raiser event in New Delhi, Textiles Union Minister Giriraj Singh noted that India’s textile sector is projected to grow to $350bn by 2030, creating 35 million jobs.
