Jakson Green’s arm ships first electrolyser for India’s largest urban mobility refueling station

Mumbai: Jakson Green INFINITY, the green hydrogen electrolyser manufacturing arm of Jakson Green, on Monday said it has shipped its first batch of 3.8 MW electrolysers.

According to the official press release, these electrolysers will be deployed to power India’s inaugural green hydrogen refueling station for urban mobility in the National Capital Region.

The electrolyser technology, manufactured at its facility in Greater Noida, will play a crucial role in producing clean, hydrogen fuel for vehicles and various other green applications.

The imported electrolyser stack was integrated with the balance of plant components which were indigenously designed, engineered, and manufactured at the greater Noida facility.

“The project reinforces hydrogen’s crucial role as a new energy transition fuel, reducing India’s dependence on imported crude oil and minimizing pollution. This sets us apart as a pioneering player in electrolyser manufacturing, and we remain committed to building infrastructure that promotes hydrogen-fueled vehicle,” said Bikesh Ogra, MD and CEO at Jakson Green.

The company’s manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has a current capacity of 300 MW. The company is planning to expand its manufacturing capacity and introduce new technologies to further strengthen its position as a leader in the green hydrogen industry, it added in its press release.

Jakson Green is a global new energy transition platform headquartered in Noida, India with an international headquarters in Dubai, is backed by the Jakson Group, a leading infrastructure and renewable energy company. It focuses on EPC, IPP, IHP and O&M of new energy assets across a wide range of technologies.
