Mindra Green, an innovator and manufacturer of high-end power electronic products, has inaugurated India’s first-ever gigafactory dedicated to the production of solar inverters and electric vehicle (EV) chargers.

The state-of-the-art facility, was inaugurated in Ahmedabad, representing a significant milestone in India’s clean energy and e-mobility journey. The expansion from a modest 200 sq. ft. setup to a 70,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility reflects Mindra’s rapid growth and long-term vision. The ultra-modern Gigafactory 2.0 has been developed under the ‘Made in India’ initiative and boasts an impressive annual manufacturing capacity of 1.20 GW. The facility underscores Mindra Green’s commitment to accelerating the nation’s shift towards sustainable energy infrastructure.

Designed to integrate scale with sustainability, the facility strengthens Gujarat’s position as a clean tech hub and positions Mindra Green as a key contributor to India’s green energy ecosystem.

Mindra Green has been actively forging partnerships to bolster India’s EV infrastructure. Notably, they have collaborated with JBM Group, serving as the charging partner under the PM eBus Yojana.
